Week 5 Lecture

Week 5 lecture talked about consumption and production. In past days people are more like consumption consumers, get entertained in more passive ways, such as cinema and television (not means that people nowadays don't use them anymore). These things are more passive comparing to contemporary medias like computer (which is more interactive) and personal media player. Just like things went from consumption to production, ordinary people are playing quite important roles in modern media, like citizen journalists.

Week 4 Lecture

Shot sizes: VLS / LS / MLS / MS / MCU / CU / BCU / ECU
Different shot sizes can be applied to specific scenes, like CU to stress the character, LS to stress place and VLS to stress time.

Room: Head room, Talking room
To make sure appropriate head room and talking room for the character.
